End-User License Agreement

TERMS OF SERVICE

This Agreement governs your use of Booktru’s services, including access to our client portal, dashboards, and accounting services.

1. Services Booktru provides bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and fractional CFO services, including access to secure dashboards powered by your business’s financial data.

2. License You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our services and dashboards solely for your internal business purposes.

3. User Responsibilities You agree to use Booktru only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit any part of the service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. Data Access and Storage By using Booktru, you authorize us to access your financial data from QuickBooks Online for the purpose of providing bookkeeping and financial reporting services. Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to unauthorized third parties.

5. Third-Party Services Booktru integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its functionality: QuickBooks Online (financial data), Stripe (payment processing), Clerk (authentication), Supabase (data storage), DocuSeal (contract signing), and Resend (email notifications). Each third party is subject to their own privacy and security policies.

6. Data Retention and Deletion Your data is retained for the duration of your engagement with Booktru. Upon termination of services, you may request deletion of your data by contacting [email protected]. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Limitation of Liability Booktru is provided “as-is.” We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted performance and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Modifications We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
